What is the difference between a achromatic telescope and a apochromatic telescope? - difference between achromatic or apochromatic refractor

Unfortionatly'm do not know how to tell the difference, but I looked in my books, internet, etc. I'm just a beginner.

Here is what a person had to say at a forum about the difference between the achromatic and apochromatic telescope:

A telescope lens is adjusted so that two different wavelengths of light, are usually blue and red, the same concentration brought. This leaves the rest of the light for a Purple Haze around the sharp image to form. In an apochromatic be placed on three wavelengths of light in the same concentration, blurred to reduce the amount of light colors.
