It is fairly easy to do. You are on the right track with the idea of heating rods of age. Use a water bath heated on the stove and melt slowly, the old soap. Do not go and leave less y'wanna home burned a house to come! It takes a while to melt the soap with a water bath, but the risk of a right to put it in a pan on the burner - gas or electric - fire is not worth it.

When it melts, you can pour the liquid into a variety of shapes and freeze. Enjoy the soap molds and wrap 'em in wax paper, label and store' em for future use.

Congratulations on being conscientious enough to recycle! You save money and protect the environment!

U can:
1). Cut, cut the soap into small pieces and stick it in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds
Or
2). cut into small pieces, cut into a small pot, then place the pot into a larger container with boiling water and cook until melted.

I recommend the 2nd B / C in the microwave sometimes strange things scented soaps or any other ingredients in them are as solids and oils, etc. is the surest Stove

After the merger, or flowing together, in the shape you want to rest, leave 15 minutes, then refrigerate for 20 minutes more, then it should slide right form, or to put on the sides with a knife and walks away.
